'72 LeMans on US Mags Bandits

I finally got around to upgrading my wheels and tires. My '72 LeMans had ARE Torq Thrusts, 15x7 with BFG Comp TA tires on the front and Grand Am (?) brand tires on the rear. I just discovered they were over 15 years old and thought it would be a good time to replace them. I went with U.S. Mags U109 Bandits, 18x9 on the rear, 18x8 on the front. The tires are BFG g-Force Sport Comp 2, 275/40R18 on the rear and 245/45R18 on the front. It's startling how much just a decent set of tires can improve braking. After this driving season, I plan on ridetech level 2 coil overs to lower it a bit and Wilwood 14" in the front, 12" in the back. I had J-Rod & Custom in Auburn, WA install Vintage Air last month (which works great, by the way), so I'm ready for driving.

Look sharp. Amazing how a set of wheels can really change a vehicle's look.

Those look great!! I believe certain wheels can only look good on certain cars and that is a perfect match
