I will be ordering DSE lowers for my second gen camaro next week but I need to get new bolts for them.

Stock is 14mm I think early cars were 9/16.

I would like to get the 9/16 if that is what the arms are set up for

Anyone know?

Tim

Dse told me 14mm. Got the arms and the bolt is kind of sloppy in the bushing. Going to pick up 9/16 today.

Early cars were 1/2". 9/16 fit in most frames-used them in my 79. My 81 TA they fit in 3 of four holes but the slightly thicker neck portion would not in that one so to be consistent I just ordered 10.9 14mm a little longer to use hardened washers.

Global arms come with sleeves to fit both 1/2 or 9/16-14mm for their bushings.

Early 2nd gens were 1/2", later ones are 14mm. Are you using the shouldered bolts? These are the two sizes used stock.

Yes I had the stock bolts and they were sloppy in the bushings. Bought new 14mm they were the same. The 9/16 fit tighter.

Mocked everything up today. Going to pull it apart next week and antisieze the bolts install the springs.
