Vintage Air Service Port location?

Just wondering if these could be possibly mounted on the inside of firewall bulkhead? Has anyone done this and how did it work out, I just hate the looks of those ugly service ports off the compressor.. Thought I could hide them and clean it up a little...

Yes you can buy different fitting and put them there
