HPI Customs - '69 Plymouth Roadrunner [Archive]

So what we have here is our 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. Our customer picked this up at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in 2012 and we have been hard at work on her ever since.

The build is currently in its last stages of completion.
We have a 6.1L Hemi crate engine installed, but the power wasn't enough for us, so we installed an STS rear mounted twin turbo setup into the car, not as glamorous as a twin front mount install, but it was something that interested us.
She also boasts an American Power-train T56 Magnum kit with dual clutches and lightweight flywheel. Suspension is Control Freaks all around. For stopping power we went with entry level Wilwood Dynapro brakes. The car's also mini-tubbed since she'll be sitting on 18 x 12's in the rear and wrapped in some killer sticky rubber to keep her under control.

We had to cut out some of the OEM cross member and utilize our own custom built one, then custom made a shift box cover. No other modifications were done to the trans tunnel or flooring.

We'll have no junk in the trunk back here on the RoadRunner. Custom sheet metal trunk, that's showroom quality and fully functional. We're also cleaning up the stereo install by flush mounting the amplifiers.
