I received my BRP LS swap mounts and am a little disappointed in the quality considering they are one of the most expensive mounts at $280.

They arrived chipped from poor packaging. They were in a small box individually wrapped in thin paper with a few pieces of popcorn inside. Also from the marks in the powder coat it is obvious they were already mounted and repackaged.
In the pictures you can see that the welds are MIG not TIG and they did not even clean off the spatter. The powder coat is also very thin and chipped off in places from lack of packaging.
The metal looks heavy enough and the bushings are polyurethane. I did notice that the tubing used does have an internal seam that is sharp and all the info from energy suspension says that the inner surface of any tube for their bushings must be smooth so I am sure this will be a wear point. Needless to say for the price my opinion is that the quality does not justify it.
I have not installed them yet but I did buy their Mid-length headers too that have not arrived so I will report back on the fit once I get a chance.

I will say that their customer service has been great and that they were willing to work with me due to the fact that there was shipping damage. If everything lines up and installs easily I will be satisfied but I think they should be priced along with the other companies at about $150 considering what they are but I knew this LS swap was going to be expensive so what ya going to do...

So to sum up my mini review.... Customer service = Great, Product quality = Average, Price = a little high.

Used them for my ls install I did 5yrs ago. They work good but do move the motor up and forward. At least on my Camaro they did. I have their mid length headers to. Wish I'd gotten the full length tho. I run c6 Vette accy w vintage air compressor down low. Evrrything fits well and is all gm.

I received my LS swap stuff from them a couple weeks ago.
Yes their packaging is lacking in making sure nothing gets damaged.
My set up is for my 66 Chevelle.
I went with these since my car presently has a 6 cylinder and by using these there are only 2 pieces to work with rather than the traditional 3.

more power. ls engines like long tube headers and they make car sound better as a added benefit

we had issues with a BRP mounting kit for a first gen f-body, we could never resolve the issues with their kit, returned it went with Speedtech. No issues at all.

I would love to use SpeedTech as I am going with their suspension but they don't offer specific mounts for my car and not sure how the universal ones would be.

For the price and quality I'm not sure why people still use this kit. The holley setup is way better quality and nearly the same price.

I am starting to agree. I think I bought into the information that you have to use one brands mounts with their headers but I am not sure if this is true or not. There is so much conflicting information on these LS swaps and by now I would think all the guessing would have been figured out but nobody seems to know. I did get the Holley oil pan and accessory drive and am very happy with the quality.
If I knew the holley mounts would have worked with the Hedman headers I would have bought them but again nobody has the answer.

Honestly the mounts for mine are so simple any fab shop could make them in about 2 hours from scratch with very low material costs and even with powder coating these should be no more than $150 with room for profit so I have no clue why they are $280. Oh wait, because people like me will buy them. I am not bashing BRP as they are providing a product that there is a demand for and supporting our builds but I do feel the price is a little high for this particular product.

you don't have to use matching headers and mounts but you better do your own homework because they are all different, same with engine accessory drive system. You have to be exact or your just pissing in the wind. Nothing worse than to get all your parts in, get to install them and then BAM the headers don't clear or the alternator hits the subframe. Now your confronted with having to send back parts if you can get a refund(alot of times parts are ordered well in advance of installation), plus finding stuff that will work.

I ended up ditching my BRP mounts as well. Mocked them up with my LSA and 6L90 and the engine was sitting too high and on an angle. Ended up using the factory 2013 CTSv fluid mounts and fabbed them up to fit.

I used the BRP headers and cross member and they fit perfectly

I have their kit on one of my cars and I can say that the quality is questionable at best... as in not very good.

I even went to pick it up directly from them and it was a lil shop in a barn in someones backyard..

id go with someone else if I had to do it again...

same here but they do work(ive had mine for 6 years no problems) if you change them then you gotta change alot of stuff!
