Ok so just got a new t56 magnum and 2 issues, one after taking a test drive there looks to be trans fluid leaking out of the rear seal and running down the the bottom of the trans onto the mount.

Second when the cars sitting at ride height and I pull the driveshaft and yoke out it pours out a little puddle of fluid. I had a t56 before and never had this problem and the trans isn't over filled. I filled the trans at ride height until it dripped out of the fill hole. Also I used Amsoil synthetic atf. Also I have about 3/4-1" of yoke showing past the seal. Any suggestions?

did you lube the yoke or seal before you put the yoke in could you have damaged the seal some how. or the seal could have been put in wrong from new hopefully it a damaged seal and nothing else. I have a t56 magnum on its way

I guess seal damage. Either way, its normal for fluid to spill when you pull the yoke. The seal and the yoke is the only barrier to the inside internals. Muncie, T-10, TH-350, TH400 etc will all dump fluid if you pull the yoke out.

I did not lube the seal or yoke..... And that's good it's normal for them to leak out, was weird cause my old one never did.
