I am working on some rear disc brake brackets for 80's G body cars. And would like to verify my dimenstions of the axle flanges. Does anyone have, or know where I can find these dimensions. For thos who don't know, the G body rear was GM's step child. It does not have the normal 4 bolt flange. It has one big hole where the wheel cylinder when through & two small ones on the underside of the axle that had (I think) a 10mm bolt in each one.

Thanks,
Scot

Hi Scot,
Try the Moser site, there is a link to a flange I.D. page. You can also remove your brake backing plate and make one up from that.

I checked there. They don't show it.

You might want to call and see what year this is for. I thought early BOP was the same as Chevy.

Well after digging a bit I found this...

looks similar to a 3rd gen drum brakes rear flange...then you can do a swap similar to this (http://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/ls1reardisc.shtml)....

I don't want to do any cutting/drilling on the axle flanges. I have all the locations except for the two small holes at the bottom. Those are what I need locations for. It doesn't seem like they are centered on the line between the axle center & top holes.

I saw Moser's website & they don't have this flange shown.

yes it is just like the picture you had shown. I thought it was only on the G body cars.

Yeah kinda sucks that they welded the flange on. If you have your backing plate you can have some one make an adapter bracket for you.
