I need help finding shocks for the rear of a 67 Camaro. I would like coilovers so I can adjust the ride height and get a stiffer ride. I found several but not for 67...maybe due to the non-staggered shocks?
The car has mono leaf springs with a 12 bolt rearend. It is not running the RH traction bar.
I looked at many websites and catalogs and noticed that BMR sells a DS402 - QA1 Rear Coilover Shock, BMR Torque Arm, Single Adjustable, Proma Star Series, Each. But like the other ones I have found, they probably only fit 68-69 unless I weld in a bracket.
I have another 67 with the same set up and had to put aluminum lowering blocks with air shocks. It lowered it but floats around corners too much. Eventually that car will get linked with ridetech parts but that is not an option for the 67 that I trying to finish.
Any suggestions are appreciated. My next step is to start calling the different sponsors but wanted to get some comments from the site first. thanks, Bill.
