Hello to everyone,
I would be very inclined to buy the transmission from phoenix transmission for my car.
would be a 4l80e with the manual option and the transbrake.
on the internet and on the forum I have not found any post about them, someone knows them? can you tell me your experience with them? would be a very expensive investment and I would like to be sure.
thanks

I've not heard anything about them either. How about Bowler Performance Transmission? Mark is a site sponsor and will stand behind his products. Do a search on them.

I'm sure he'd be happy to build what you're looking for.

I second the thought on Bowler. We go out of our way to support vendors who support this site and the whole Pro-Touring hobby. For us, Bowler is a no brainer based on their product honest practices. Phoenix might do a decent job, but they seem more like a "production" shop that pushes out rebuilds for about anything. Just my humble opinion. What kind of car are you building?

After using a few transmission company's and not being happy with customer service or product, we got hooked up with Bowler and they are the only company I will let build transmission for our customers. They stand behind there work 100%.

I know that bowler is one of the best productor on the market. But is not the only, no one know phoenix transmission or Greg Ducato? He's on the market since 30 years!

That's who twist machine has build their tranny's for their manumatic packages. I've been running one of their 4l60's for the last couple months behind a 630HP 418 LS3 and it's holding up well so far.
