Difference between Baer 6P and 6S?

Other than the kits costing about $1200 difference between them, what's the difference? The description on Baers site seems to read the same for both.

Difference between Baer 6P and 6S?

6S are one piece forged. They're stronger. Also the rotors are 1.25" thick rather than 1.1".

I did a little more research on the 6Ps last night. Looks like they use the OEM pad for a C5 or C6 too. So I don't see much to be gained with this kit over my C6 set-up. Even my C6 set-up has a 1.25" rotor...1" rotor is disappointing with a $2K kit.

      It's 1.1" fwiw.
The 6P is more robust and doesn't deflect as much as a 2 piston aluminum C6 will, so you can put more of the braking energy into the pads and rotors. Their rotor uses an aluminum hat which makes them lighter overall than a 14" C6 rotor.
