Hello, need some help with my upper tri-angled bars, currently there sitting at 45* off a cross bar. I've been told that i should be more at 50-60* but wasn't 100% sure. If i don't plan on running a watts link or panhard bar would i be fine with 45*. What your take or recommendations.
I included a few photos where i am at currently.
Thanks for the help
Ron

If I do keep these upper bars at the 45* angle, making a upper mounting point may be a little difficult with the inner U bolt in the way. Any suggestions on mounting the upper to the tubes?

I would get rid of the bolt on mounts and go to a weld on mount. that would get rid of the u-bolts.

I agree you are going to have to eleminate the u-bolts and weld on mounts. The alternative is to reverse the angle of the bars. Inboard on the axle to outboard on the frame like this.
