c6 calipers
Would like to get rid of the corvette logo without harming the red finish is it possible?

Since you said red finish, you must mean the C6 Z06 calipers. If that's the case, then the Corvette lettering and logo are just silk screened onto the face of the caliper and can be removed in a variety of ways relatively easily. We've normally just shaved the logo with a razor and then color sanded an buffed the caliper to take out any scratches.

I had some z51's that were red. They would have to be sanded or milled and recoated.

Factory? You wouldn't happen to have a part number would you? The only red 2-piston calipers that I'm aware of GM ever selling for the C5/C6 Corvette's were the C5 Z06's.
