I just ordered a pre-assembled quadralink on a Ford 9" rear directly from DSE. I am putting it into a Trans Am just out of paint that has been mini-tubbed and had DSE sub frame connectors installed.

So I am trying to figure out how much time is required to put the already assembled rear up under the car and get it setup. The car has nothing underneath it right now since it just came off the rotisserie and went to paint.

Any ideas? I have the narrowed tank, etc to put in when I am done but I'm just trying to determine how difficult this particular install will be since I haven't done one of these before. I think I have to relocate the front spring pockets, install the upper shock mount bar and mounts and the housings for the upper links welded into the rear seat area. Since I have not seen the instructions I'm not sure and could use a heads up to get planning for its arrival in approximately 2 weeks.

Here is what I would be working with... It is now painted and I stuck an old rear end up under to to make it a roller but that takes about 5 minutes to pull completely out since it is attached only at the spring pocket and rear shackles.

For what it is worth: We have only done the QUADRALink & deep tubs together. We also haven't done a 2nd Gen F-Body yet. Complete job is normally 60-70 hrs. You can probably deduct 15-20 hrs since the tubs have already been done.

Upon the research that I have done, the folks who have done second gen f body's states the long pole was the tubs. 40 hours is what I was quoted and the quadra link was 20 hours
if your is pre-assembled and the car is stripped, I don't see it taking 3 days if you are experienced

Take a look at the build pics in my signature, it will give you an idea of what's involved. You're going to be cutting into a lot of that new paint underneath.

10 to 15 hours since the rear axle is already welded up
