Just trying to get a basic setup before I take the car to an alignment shop. Do both sides of the rack need to be equally spaced? Meaning do the lock nuts, rod ends and adjustment sleeve all have to have the same number of threads showing? I've got a 1/2" difference between the 2 sleeves on the threaded rack.
This was a complete bolt on kit from Magnumforce and all of the parts are the same dims for each side. The coilovers are also set to the same height.
Also, for some reason, the driver's side setup which is 1/2" off, has a slight angle towards the shock (camber?). There also is no frame damage as the k-member bolted right into place. Thanks again.

As long as the rack is centered (turn lock to lock and go back halfway) then you'll be fine.

Do your best to keep it centered. Additionally, measure the thread length on each side. That way afterwards you can measure and ensure you have enough thread length in each tie-rod. When I installed my first R&P and took it to the local alignment shop........they adjusted the toe on only one end. Needless to say, I only had about a 1/4" on one end. I caught it, and had him put it back on the rack and do it correctly. Best of Luck!

Yep, my steering wheel wasn't quite lined up after I made the adjustments to the R&P. Thanks again!

Center up the rack, even up tie rods and front wheels, tape measure front of tire and back, also you make toe rough in boards to even it up front and rear, THEN hook up steering intermediate shaft/column.
