Complete one piece custo chassis VS front custom frame and rear multilink/indipendent

What do you think is the better solution between one piece chassis and a custom frame and rear multilink/indipendent ?
One piece custom chassis it's enoughts or requires a roll cage for an hig performace street machine ?
