upper control arm moog ball joint torque
1992 Chevy Silverado 2wd. upper control arm torque for nut that attaches ball joint to spindle. Chevy Haynes manual says 90 foot pounds the instructions in the new Moog upper control arm says"install slotted nut and torque to 50 ft.lbs Continue to tighten the slotted nut to the next available slot."
Im going to see if there is a tech line for moog. Please help. I have one side all together and need to start on the other side.
There were 13,802 1974 Z28's made.
I got two of them!
1974 Camaro coupe, 1974 Z28 restoration project,1974 Z28 shell (they are more of a project)
1992 Chevy Silverado (black with red interior V6 5speed) 454SS wannabe. Now a 350 w/5speed, Finally!!
Will be a 454 with a 6 speed one day.

Ok Checked Chiltons manual and it says 50 foot pounds plus additional torque to align cotter pin. DO NOT exceed 90 foot pounds and never back off cotter pin to align holes.
Ok so Chiltons explained it better, back outside to finish. There were 13,802 1974 Z28's made.
