I see You in the states doing very incredible thinghs about cars like put a 1969 mustang body on a 2011 model, so I have thought for my project, a Gulf widebody Camaro replica, to put a complete fibre body 1967/68 camaro on a C6 Corvette chassis complete of everything: motor, electrical, interiors ecc...
In the end a C6 Corvette with a 1967 camaro looking.
It seems making thinghs more easy and cheaper instead to rebuilt a complete 1967 camaro with performance parts.
A thing like this, but with a 1967 Camaro body

Define "easy."
Putting a C6 chassis into anything else requires a custom frame. You can't just mate the body and frame together. It'll require more work in the long run than using aftermarket parts. The majority of the floorpan would need to be cut out along with the trunk area.
Interior... The C6 has a lot of electronics, and if you're concerned about weight just fab an aluminum dash with new gauges.
A carbon body would be cool, but very costly.
If you're paying someone to build the car you'll have a lot of money into the build, so step back and evaluate what you really want the car to do for you.

Why not put a 67 Camaro body on a full frame chassis? Have you looked at Dale Schwartz's chassis? Send him a decent body and have him put it on his frame. It doesn't get any simpler if easy is what you are after with a bad ass handling car.
