1.Looks easy on TV, I can do that.
2.Just because you bought a good welder doesn’t mean you’re a good welder
3.Figure out what it will cost and add 50%
4.Like Steve Rupp said, if it says bolt on, it doesn’t
5.I can lose the nut off a bolt quicker than anyone
6.My back sucks and I’m not getting younger
7.Figure out a time line and double it
8.My wife is an Angel for putting up with this
9.Rewiring the car really wasn’t that bad, thanks AAW
10.When you want to blow up your car, walk away, have a beer, and start again tomorrow!
I really want to thank everyone here and at PT and Lat-G cause without you guys, I couldn't (and shouldn't) have done this!
I only copied what so many others have done before, so no real need to go into full detail...
A special thanks goes out to my old neighbor Herb Lumpp for all of his help, Matt's Classic Bowties for a ton of parts (and patients), and my tuner Ed Hutchings for making this thing purr like a kitten!

So after 2.5 years of building my first car, I am finally on the road and enjoying my first full build. Still a small list of punch out items, but she's driving really nice and burnin rubber. I'll spend the rest of this year getting the bugs out, and next year I'll hit as many events as I can!!!
Thanks again,
Matt
