I looked at the Ridetech setup also and just wondered 1 thing. Do they not offer a rear sway bar because they don't see a need for one with this setup or because you can use the one you have ??

TCP is part of the Chassisworks family of brands. We have had them in house for about 12 years now and build all the suspensions components in house, no waiting for outside suppliers. Here's a couple '67/8s with the g-Link rear suspension systems. You can read more about it here: http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/gBar.html
Here's some pics of gBar/gLink cars, click each title to see more pics of that car and some install photos.

Carl,
Thanks for the post, these cars are Beautiful!! I actually contacted you guys a year or so ago about my build because my car is mini tubbed and I plan on running a 10" or 11" wide rear wheel. Do you make offset brackets to compensate for wider than stock wheels? If so, any info?
thanks....

Yes, there is an offset option for the lower control arms which makes more room for the tire. The Mustangs are a little tricky when you try to put massive tires in back so it's best to give us a call to go over the configuration.
Keep in mind that shoving a massive tire in back doesn't do much to improve the handling as the front tire starts to be relatively small in comparison and that can unbalance the complete package.

Not a 4-link, but I'd recommend you also consider the "StreetOrTrack.com" three link setup. IMHO it's not as susceptible to bump steer / roll steer, is less likely to get into roll bind and the watts link is more effective at controlling / tuning the roll center. It's what I went with when faced with upgrading the rear suspension on my 67.

Because the TCP g-Link has our TruCenter technology pivot ball ends there is no bind throughout the entire suspension travel. That includes full articulation. One benefit of the canted 4-bar over a 3-link with Watts is that it is much easier to run the exhaust out the back of the car.
The TCP Rear Push Rod Suspension (http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/rpss_fd.html) system is a torque arm style suspension for more frequent aggressive driving or race use. It has a Watts link. Because of it's unique mounting, you can still route the exhaust out the back.
That's what is in both of these cars.

Thanks guys, seems like I have a few options here!
Carl- I think the widest tire I would try to fit would be a 305 or maybe a 315. The car is mini tubbed so I have an extra 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Also the exhaust is a factor because I fabbed up the rear valance from a 65/66 into my 67.
Red67- Ill take a look at StreetorTrack.

I went with a R&C 4 link, good design and easy to install. With the stock wheel tubs I can squeeze a 10" rim with 295's. Right now I have 9.5" and 275's cause of a good deal.
Off topic but now is the time to narrow your rear end if you want to get a wheel with a nice deep dish.

Spork82- Do you have any pics of your R&C install? I have their front IFS for Coyote swaps and love all of the components..
