Power Steering Hardline

Hey guys, I saw a car at a car show(see picture below) that had the pressure and return stainless steel hardline coming off the steering box and then they ran a section of hose from that to the power steering pump. I want to run a section of hardline so that I can keep the lines off my headers. Is it safe to use stainless steel line on the pressure side? If this is ok to do, will these sleeves and nuts be ok to use? Also, what size hardline would you use?

Thos will work in -6 size. The pressure hose absorbs the pump pulses, so use as long a hose section as possible.
