Okay, so we have finished installing the mini-tubs and the Ridetech AirRide setup in the rear of my 69 Firebird! The question I have is whether I need to re-install and modify the bump stops for when I lower to Level 1 to set it down? As of right now we still have the 15" wheel/tires on the car and we haven't hooked up the tank/compressor because its still a stripped shell as we are going to start the body work to prep for paint. When we lowered the car down off the jack stands it didn't stop until the wheels hit the tops of the inner tubs??? Is this normal? What are people doing when they completely lower their car for Level 1, as I'm assuming you let out all the air in the shockwaves? Eventually I will install a shortened rear end and wider tires but I need to understand how this works so I can make decisions on overall tire height, settings, and how to modify the bump stops if necessary. I believe when we notched the frame for the mini-tubs we also removed one of the mounting holes for the stock bump stops, so I'm not sure if they can be used. I'll have to look this evening.
