Don't take street pads to the track.. or this will happen
This happened over the weekend at the UTCC/Mid Atlantic NASA event. Do invest in a good set of race pads. Cheap pads have fillers in them that are combustible and very hard to put out.

just throw on a good set of race pads and you won't need to worry about it. street pads have "filler" material and most of it is combustible. race pads don't have any filler.
