Thanks...

Those look GREAT! I'm very interested in how you made them work. I have been wrestling with mine for weeks now. Do you have a write up of your install? Do they sit high enough that you can still utilize the power functions, but low enough that your head isn't though the headliner? If so, can you share how you made them fit between the tunnel and the door? I'm sorry for 20 questions, but I'm at my wits end with these seats.

Something to think about with a vert is how high the rears are. I just got some put in my chevelle a couple days ago and ran into this. Others have had them cut down, but I think I'm going to make a bumper along the top of the seat on the car side for them to rest on and then set them up on a spring-loaded pivot. To raise or lower the top I'll just tilt them forward a bit for clearance. They are really comfortable as is so I'd hate to chop them up (I did cut the frame and pull some foam out of the corners though).

This is what I cut out

Measurements and what another guy did for the backs are on this page. http://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/1324170-l-q-9-ls1-71-chevelle-convertible-23.html He and I are both working on Chevelles, but I can't imagine a camaro would be too terribly different in terms of seat height.

Going to upholster the seat backs.

What seats are these with the built in seatbelts? I really like the modern seat look.

3 Series BMW convertible, 2002 I think? I like them. Lots of power adjustments (even headrest), seat belts don't need a body control module to work, they tilt forward for rear access and - in terms of electricity at least - the install is easy since you just need a power and a ground. If you buy some make sure to get the pigtails, makes it a lot easier.
Shoulder belts were a must for the front seats.
