Hardline from 600 Series steering box

Hey guys, I want to run a short section of hardline from the 600 series steering box on my 67 camaro. The power steering hose I have gets real close to my headers so I want to run a section of hardline and then hose to the power steering pump. My question is has anyone done something like this before? I was thinking about making the hardline out of stainless steel line and use -6AN fittings. Not sure how to connect the hardline to the steering box. Also, do these fittings need to be steel for the pressure side? Here's the fitting that goes into the steering box.Name: 100_1574.jpg

I would use steel, considering the pressure and temperatures involved. Places like "Inline Tube" can make you a custom hardline with correct ends. You just need to mock-up the line configuration dimensions and decide what ends you need and send it to them to copy. I have already talked with them about doing this on similar tubing projects on my 68 Camaro.
      BE different....ACT normal.

No one is completely useless..They can always be used as a bad example
