That is a pretty good deal.

What does this setup do (or do better), that your competitors do not?

Thanks for asking!

First off, the price is fantastic. If you check around, this complete package is on sale for less $ than most all of our main competitors charge for just their control arms, it's like getting coilovers and adjuster sleeves for free, and in most cases a discount on top of that.

As far as components go all of it is made here in the US with high quality materials and manufacturing processes. These are original designs and not copy cat imitations made off shore. There are several advantages to the Speedtech Pro touring package- It's a complete package, one part number does it all. All parts are computer designed and use computer controlled manufacturing processes to give the strongest possible product that is consistent every time. Both the upper and lower arms have + caster built in for better stability and increased camber gain while turning. The uppers use billet stainless cross shafts that are offset allowing a larger range of static camber settings without requiring excessive alignment shims. Greasable Delrin bushings don't flex or squeak like poly bushings. Heavy duty ball joints better handle the abuse of Pro Touring style driving. Heim style sway bar end links allow smooth bind free operation as the suspension articulates. Super strong and light weight billet aluminum tie rod adjusters make it easier to adjust toe settings and help prevent rusted together parts. Control arms and tie rod sleeves are powder coated gloss black for a good looking and long lasting protective finish. Grade 8 hardware is included with each kit. Viking coilover shocks eliminate the pain of having to mess around with different coil springs to find the perfect ride height and spring rate. They provide all the advantages of coilover shocks without having to modify the frame to install them. The track proven shocks are double adjustable allowing you to control both rebound and compression so you can easily tune your suspension to your specific car and driving style. Shock thrust bearings and wrench are included in the kit to make adjusting ride height even easier. Most of our competitors incorporate some of these benefits, but from what I could see none of them have all of them.

Our goal with any of our parts is to provide the best value on the market- the best possible parts at the best possible pricing. G Body cars make great hot rods, but unfortunately a majority of them are drag race oriented and are missing out on the world of turning fast. We have a couple of G body test cars amongst our crew and see the great potential they have amongst all the Camaros, Chevelle, Mustangs, etc. Generally they're light weight, they have the same wheelbase as a 1st gen Camaro and early Mustangs, you can tuck big wheels and tires under them, and as you can see here there are some great parts available to make them turn. The main purpose of putting on this sale is is to support the G Body community and to help more of them experience and enjoy the blast we have running cones rather than just a straight line.

Ben, that looks like a really nice package. What sort of ride height are the coil overs adjustable to and are there spring rate options?

The coilovers allow for around 2.5" of adjustment. In comparison to your Real, Blake has this package on his Grand National and it measures 24.5" at the top of the fender wheel opening. He runs a 275-35-18 (same as a 275-40-18) and he says it is low enough that it rubs on the inner fender well at full lock.

These Hybrid type springs come in 550 and 650# springs. We usually recommend 550 for small blocks and 650 for big blocks. IIRC your 455 weighs between the small and big block, and with the aluminum heads...? Blake said he actually liked the feel of the 650's for his car with the T-V6.
