Actually I have found an electric servo ball valve found, supposedly they can be modified for a metallic seal for higher heat solutions, but have yet to hear back from manufacturer, the 3 in with a teflon liner for the ball valve to sit in was fairly high but the failure rate is supposedly like 1 in 10,000 and the linear actuators are replaceable and I was noticing it mounted MUCH like a turbo waste gate, had me thinking of maybe being able to replace it with a pressure or vacuum controlled diaphragm.

From what I hear from other members is Doug's electric cut outs are the best to use.

I've been thinking about these:

They're not cutouts, they're a bypass unit. They actually close off the exhaust when the outlets are open. I've been speaking with one of the best custom exhaust guys around and he likes them, but he also said he doesn't really recommend cutouts at all. He has found most of the time there's no power gain and many times there's actually a loss. I explained that I didn't want them for a power gain. I just want to hear my BBC with open headers now and then. He said he said he felt it's not worth the hassle, but he installs what his customers want. It's interesting that so many guys here like the QTPs. He says he's had too many failures & bad customer service from them, so he uses DMH...

My car has more pickup on the top end when they are open. I didnt buy them for a performance gain either but it is a noticable difference
