      Tie Rod thread size

Hoping someone can answer this one for me. Friend gave me a nice set of Billet tie rod connectors to put on my 72 Camaro, I have MOOG tie rods on there. He could not find the jam nuts that went on the outer tie rod. Anyone know the thread size and if they are a right or left thread??

      Thanks.

Take them to a local ACE hardware store. They will have a good enough selection you should be able to match them up. I do this all the time. They even carry grade 8 stuff.

      I'm pretty sure they're 5/8-18 , LH and RH.

I don't, but if you have the tie rod there it's easy to tell which way the threads are going.

I was trying to get the nuts before I take the tie rods off so i did not get in a situation where I take the tie rod off and apart and can't find the right nut...but that is not working out too well :(
