      Hydro boost issues

Well my Chevelle sat for a long time and I finally got it running. I was having issues with
my stater and fuel injection. After I got all that sorted I went to drive the car and my brake
pedal was pushing back when I depressed the pedal also the pedal very low. This was a new hydro boost that I installed
just before the car was parked. I was working perfect.
Is there something that could have happened because it sat so long?
      Any help will be appreciated.

      Thanks

I can understand injectors needing to be clean after long use but what could cause the hydro booster not working from
      Inactivity. Anyone have this issue.

Well I called Hydratech and they were very helpful and this is not their unit. Anyone look for Hydro boost you should look
into Hydratech. Basically he said that I need to get the brakes working manually first and then look at the Hydro boost.
This makes sense I need to get manual brakes first.
      thanks Hydratech!

      Don't immediately assume...

Your description actually sounds to me like more of a conventional brake problem as opposed to a problem with the hydraulic brake assist unit itself. My thoughts are that you should thoroughly bleed your brakes (especially from sitting so long / age), adjust up your rear brakes (if drum or calipers with integral e-brake). It is also possible that your master cylinder may be starting to ail (corrosion pitting inside the bores from moisture in the brake fluid). If that doesn't clear it up, read up further: http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=27741

Started to work on the car, master cylinder no fluid passenger side rear wheel cylinder leaking.
Front brake caliper bleeder screw broken, thought I try new set of easy out but I snapped it.
Oh well at least not a big problem.

Have you gotten all of your bugs worked out yet? Failing rear wheel cylinder and front caliper bleeder issues?

Simply curious as to your progress
