Hello,
I have a 68 camaro with rightstuff big brake kit and this kit is exactly based on the mustang cobra brakes, close also to what used to be the old track bear brake kit.
The system is working very well. It has a disc ebrake on the rear calipers. but the ebrake bracket is not pushing the pads hard enough on the rotor so when applied the e brake does not block the wheels.
I checked the good function of rear brakes, hydraulics, all is fine. I also drove and try to get the self alignment mechanism to work, now it is run in it still doesn't work?
I checked also with more tension on the ebrake cable, also no incidence. I just don't have good parking brake.
I read that this ebrake system is not the best but it should at least function...
Any ideas what I may try?
Thanks
