Has anyone used/or is using the wilwood dual master cylinder setup for your brakes, one for the front and one for the back? How well does it work, are you satisfied? I am most likely going to use C4 fronts and rears since I am using a C4 Wayne Due Frame and C4 Rear. The car is going to see mostly street use. I am welding a new firewall in out of sheet, and am starting from scratch. This seemed to clean up the firewall the best. Thanks.

John,
There are a few people running individual masters with bias bar adjusters here. Most setups use a dedicated pedal assembly. These are available from Wilwood,Tilton, and most other circle track companies.
I use a setup from CNC Brakes that adapts to the stock pedal. So far I am very happy with the setup. I am currently running 3/4" masters with C4 sized calipers front & rear. This would probably work well for you as long as you have at least a 6:1 pedal ratio. My 73 has closer to 5:1 so I am switching to smaller MCs.
Hope this helps,
Shane

If you are trying to do the reserve mount, under dash cylinders. you need to take some measurements. Often times these interfere with the steering column, or dash cluster, or both to say the least. A nice solution is to just use a pretty Master like the new Wilwood Billet. It is a work of art.

I've used the Tilton units on my circle track cars with good success (Willwood is identical, in fact we interchanged the master cylinders at one point). I would like to use a reverse mount (under dash) on my 68 too. Love to hear how it goes Travis, keep us posted. I definitely think it will clean the firewall up considerably, just don't leak any fluid or it's all over your interior!
