Does it matter which brake pad goes on the outside (rubber pad or no rubber pad) on c5 front calipers????

the pads i've used didn't have a rubber pad? i would guess the outer most side due to the fact that its flat.

Yeah, I'm a little confused like Vince on the rubber pads.

      Got a pic?

      situation resolved...

      Thanks guys,

Vince, you are correct with the pad having rubber on it going to the outboard side. I'm assuming the pads that come with the Touring-Classics hybrid system are stock pads.

      For clarification-
On the rear pads: One has a rubber coating/sticker-like pad on the back side and one has a sandpaper-like sticker on the back side.

On the front pads: One has a rubber coating/sticker-like pad on back and one has a bare metal back.

In both cases, front and rear, the brake pad with the rubber on it goes on the outboard side of the rotor.
