      firehawk wide oval

has anybody used the wide oval, i am thinking about putting some on 16s on my 77 Trans Am, just curious if they can handle an iron engine trying to change directions in corners

yes they can. ive got them on my 96 formula that i daily drive. they arent as good in the rain as my GSD3s that i had on before, but at nearly $60 less per tire they are perfectly fine. straight line dry traction is good, but i am losing my clutch so its getting hard to tell for sure. i have autox on these only once, but i was pulling thought turns much much better than i thought i would be able to. no where near the amount of understeer i was expecting. i will buy these again.

what suspension are you running on that car as that will be the biggest factor in whether or not you can turn the car with any type of speed.
