My question is the fallowing , when installing a mini tub do i have to cut the floor pan or vend it in a 90 degree angle to spot weld the tub to it? Also after installing it , do i weld all-around the inside of the tub ? Thanks

Bending it to a flange and spot welding is one way to do it- which can be easier than butt welding it depending on how good the tub would fit. We've also bent pieces of sheet metal afterwards to bridge that 90* angle.
You don't need to weld the whole tub but you can. We spot weld it several times and seam seal when complete.

You have to scribe the lines for cutting the floor pans b4 you remove the old tub. It works with a flange and without, but you can only bend the flange in the strait areas. Then you have a place for water to be trapped if you don't seal it well. Butt welds work great if you cut it nice. I welded solid then seam sealed. I have more pictures if you need them.

I never bend the flange but I always fully weld the entire tub along the floor. Accurate cutting and fitment is the key.

This is, IMO the best tutorial on the process contained on PT.com: https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/46900-The-Novice-s-guide-to-mini-tubbing-a-68-69-Camaro

Please don't post the same question in multiple forums.

I've combined the threads.

IMO the DSE templates are all but useless on the 67. I made my own.

Having done a few searches on this topic, I found the above guide to be the best one and I plan on using it when I tackle mine. The number of pictures is a big help for the more visual among us

I made my own. imo it is easier than modifying stock ones. sometimes starting with a blank canvas is the way to go

By far the best tutorial. I had never done this kind of work before and nine turned out perfect using this. Good luck.
