What's the best way to cut carbon fiber?
I need nice clean edge.

I usually cut it with a dremel with a cutoff wheel, then a dremel carbide bit for rounding the edges. Wear a mask! It's bad for your lungs! :)

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GLASSES ON, or a face shield any stray fibers can and are very sharp. You will most definitely not want these know your face. If you don't have a face shield use a welding helmet with the "eye or lens" removed .

cut with a diamond blade and wet sand. My company's EH&S recommend a respirator not just a dusk mask.
