i have a 69 camaro and i just finished laying dynamat on the back seat area, tubs, partition, and entire floor, i have just been wondering if it is worth it to do the doors? i do not have any speakers in them and if i should do them, which areas should i cover?

I think it makes a big difference. I did it on my 69

did you do it on the inside of the outer skin or just the outside of the inner part?

Inside of the outer skin is flatter which makes the "tin" sound, it's most needed there. Dynamat type deadener is what I'm talking about.

Same. Works really well. Gives that door shutting "thud".

If the Dynamat is installed on the inside of the door (outside panel, but inside the shell) wouldn't it tend to hold moisture?

I put Dynamat on the inside of the inner door panel since I too was concerned about moisture. It helped a lot.

Mainly the ccd matting like dynomat is for taking away vibration resonance from speakers or perhaps downpipes.
And you only really need 25% coverage.
To Combat heat takes a different matting
Same with air Bourne noises...MLV and ccf om wheelwells help with that

Def good to get moisture out like mentioned
