i want to remove my front subframe and rear springs on my 68 camaro. Where is a good spot to put jack stand? Are jack stands my best option for holding the shell up or do you guys use someting else?
thanks

I initially did this, then rearranged a bit afterwards. Later I probably put jack-stands under the rear frame rails and removed the rear leafs & axle assembly as a unit although i don't really remember exactly at this point.

I use wheel cribs and boards under the pinch welds or rocker corners depending on the car. Then prep & prime the front subframe mount areas before rearranging the cribs to support the car under the frame mounts so I can do the rest of the floor areas.
