I am in the process of mocking up my Wilwood brakes and RideTech Stage 2 front suspension on my 69 Firebird stock sub frame.
I installed the caliper mounting bracket and rotor on the passenger side and torqued everything down. I think I am using the right spacers according to the directions. I tried to slide the brake pads in and I think I have a problem. the inside pad slides in with room to spare, and I can't even start to slide in the outside pad. I am using RideTech spindles along with the rest of their kit. Does the caliper mounting bracket need to be shimmed outward to get even spacing for the brake pads? I called Wilwood yesterday and left a voicemail...no reply yet.83783This is what the brake kit looks like.
