C5 Disc Brake upgrade

Hi guys
So below is my current setup, GM 11" I believe, and would like to upgrade to the C5 13"s. I need to keep the offsets the same and obviously ride height as well.
My question is, given what I currently have what is my best option for the conversion

buy a full kit like this one ... (I always prefer 'kits' for the purposes of a hassle free install) also, are the taller spindles an advantage given my current setup ?

Or Piece it together with the brackets from speedtech, and a set of calipers like this ...

Might want to check out Kore3.com as well. Tobin can put together a C5 kit for you, and his customer service is top notch.

You will be stoked on the C5 swap, those 11 inch brakes are garbage.

I just installed a front disc brake kit on my 72 nova. Got it from fisher bros speed shop. Kit bolted right up to my drum brake spindles. Looks great and cost $550. The offset was not changed besides the difference in hat thickness from the drum to the 13 inch corvette rotor.

Hey Scott, yes I did go with the CPP kit, painted the spindles and the rotors (center's) black to prevent rust and the kit was a VERY simple swap in. I have not touched the front end since as I am waiting for the car to go to the body/paint shop next week. Rod, fronts are 18's and 19's rear.

Has anyone put some miles down on the CPP kit? Have been reading up on older posts on this topic, and there seem to be alot of people arguing against the CPP kit. But I have yet not found anyone that suffer from failure. I am into byuing a new suspension and brake setup on my 69 Camaro and look into different paths. Got manual drums today, and that is no good around where I live.
