Looking for disk brakes for a shortened 8.8 axle with big ford 9" bearing ends that seems to work on this housing, what has been used, how was the installation completed?
Thank you

Any kit for a 9inch housing end will work. Wilwood has a few options.

There are two Big Bearing Ford patterns. The late style or Torino style will have a 2 1/2" offset from housing end to axle flange and will use 3/8" bolts. The early Big Bearing Ford will use 1/2" bolts and could use a different offset. The bolt patterns are different between the two.

I highly recommend a floating caliper with an 8.8 rear end.
Can't you just use an explorer disc set up?
