I have a good used Fidanza aluminum flywheel that came off an internally balanced big block Chevy engine. It will work on an internally balanced small block also. 153 tooth ring gear. I used this with a ZF 6 speed trans and a ceramic disc clutch.
Price is 200$ shipped

I am pretty sure that the bolt pattern or the crank register is different between a SBC and BBC.

Andrew,
I think the SBC & BBC bolt pattern and crank register are the same on early model motors, but there is a difference when you switch over to the one piece rear main seal style crank. It all gets so confusing. GEN I , GEN II , MARK IV, GEN VI, LS this LS that. :hmm: :)

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't mean to muddy up the thread. My apologies.

Yes, this flywheel will not work with the new one piece rear main seals. It will only work on the big and small blocs with a 2 piece rear main seal.
