Just got the brown dash for the '81 TA back this week (81 TAs camel tan had brown dash, steering column, console and package tray)and unboxed it to start reassembly. It had a dash cap that had cracked where the dash had cracked and other than the poor spotty availability of the Classic no repops out there so Just Dashes was the only choice.

Color good, nice vinyl, 'glassed it to fit a regular radio again(had been cut out for a CD player) BUT they covered most of the holes for the glove box, the bottom dash bolts, the gauge cluster bezel(top 3 and bottom 2 underneath), the glove box stop lever hole with vinyl! Probably 20 holes. The brake release lever assembly barely fit in the recess(fit better in the dash cap).

They sprayed the whole thing with some kind of adhesive I guess before they layed on the vinyl(I thought they vacu formed it on) and it covers almost every hole of the gauge cluster area as well as the three on the drivers side that attach it to the metal dash.

Sent the ashtray so they could paint it to match, they restore the ashtrays but basically glass beaded it-and the plating was not bad on that one I sent! No plating now just bare metal.

They were about right at 10 weeks time.

I'll give them a B+ at best, for the price it should be ready to bolt in!

Thanks for the review. I've been interested in sending them the dash out of my 79 TA.

A link for some pictures. Fnally got my gauges and dash bezel back from restoration and a final grade fro Just Dashes had dropped to a B-. I must have had to cut vinyl off 20+ holes they covered over. The parking brake handle assembly was too tight in it's slot and worse my nice restored bezel was way too tight. Scuffed the dash paint in areas and had to use the hair dryer(too scared to use my heat gun of melting stuff) to even get it fit in there. They had not looked at the loose holes for the instrument cluster that I asked them too so I had to add some JB Weld in a few for the screws to be tight.

I'm also pondering about using my Zn plating kit to do the ashtray without getting the painted area in the solution as the humidity here in Houston bare blasted steel is just rust waiting to happen.

I'm getting some more pictures of the gauges and bezel installed I'll post there.

I'l try and load them here but this board has a much smaller KB size so then I have to resize every picture to fit.

Ever cruise up Morgan Territory Road? lots of curves up there. I used to live over by the Livermore airport years ago. Tassajarra was wide open country back then also.
