I have a baer sport setup that came with a master cylinder. This is for an 80 trans am I have been working on.

I am also using the stock prop valve. I purchased some inline tube brake lines and they do not seem to fit thread wise to the master cylinder.
All of my stock pictures show the the master cylinder inlet closest to the firewall should be for the rear brakes. Is this not the case now? Is the baer master cylinder switched. The reason I ask is because the hole in the ms closest to the firewall is smaller than the other one. I think it was switched on my old ms (I don't have any more). It also makes sense that they are switched becuase the inline prebent lines that I bought are bent so the largest diameter thread goes in the hole closest to the firewall. I know I am confusing the heck out of anyone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will try and get some pics up also.

thanks again.

I bought Baer brakes which included a new master cylinder for my '68 Camaro. The brake line locations on the new master cylinder that Baer provided was reversed from the stock master cylinder. Check your installation directions from the Baer kit or give them a call to verify if you are still unsure.

Thanks...so I am not tottally insane. Looks like I need to get some custom bent lines from the master to the prop valve. Thanks!!

Same story here. Inline Tube sets up their lines for what they consider a "stock" MC. It so happens that the fitting sizes on the MC Baer uses in some of it's kits are reversed. I just bent the lines from the distribution block to the MC to get the proper lines to line up with the correct fitting sizes on the MC.

Not sure about the GTO but my inline tube lines are such different lengths that there is no way that that will work.

They are also diferent size diameter, and diffrent size fittings on the end. Of the 4 ends 3 have different size ends. I think I will bend up some from scratch and flare them.

Thanks for all of the input. I appreciate the help!!!
