Hey guys im working on my 1980 trans am used to be my fathers car a while ago and he gave it to me when i was 13 so now 10 years later I'm ready to build this car the way i think a trans am should be. The car has DSE mini tub kit and tubular a-arms 2" lowering springs and solid body bushings. The engine is a 461 Stroker Pontiac making 550Hp 600Lb ft of torque backed by a Tremec t56 Magnum trans with a mechanical clutch bellhousing from quick time. The rear is a fab9 narrowed with true trac and 3:89 gears the wheels are 18x9 and 18x12 Year One billet snowflake wheels and the whole thing is going to stop with C6 zo6 brake kit from kore3 and a hydroboost set up by hydratech im having a roll bar welded up inside and Corbeau A4 seats and im going to fit autometer gauges in the engine turned dash bezel

This is how the car started

79050

Then it went into paint jail

79052
79053

Then the mini tubs were installed

Mean while i worked on restoring the subframe I had it sandblasted and i painted it with POR15 and added new stainless fuel and brake lines

Had the firewall smoothed

Then the body was mounted on the subframe

Then Finally the fenders

Bolted up the rear suspension

And finally the car sits on the ground again

Good work on your T/A- thanks for keeping it Pontiac Powered. What size rubber do you have on your original snowflakes? It doesn't look too bulgy for 15's and I need new rubber for my 76 TA.
