transmissions and driveshaft

I just bought an $800 aluminum driveshaft for a th350 and realized i want a t56. will this driveshaft match up to the t56??? HELP

The T56 is longer so you'll have to get it shortened. $800 seems a bit steep for an aluminum shaft though.. Must have an expensive slip yoke? You can reuse your slip as long as you're not using a T56 Magnum.

yea i know it was alot of money but they make the best around. but alls ill have to do is get it shortened and reuse the same yoke

Also wondering if the spline on the driveshaft thats in the th350 would fit the t56 transmission

I don't believe so. I believe the Th350 is 27 spline output and the T56 is 31 spline(at least on the magnum). If thats what you're asking.
