I am running a GM performance parts mini starter. Those killer headers come with a compromise. The header and starter have to go on together. I hope to do it only once so I am taking every step to protect that little sucker. I moved the starter as close to the block as possible and of course the shield hits the block. I ground it down so it does not touch the block. I don't want any noise. I will also run my starter wiring and probably atleast one spark plug wire through the shield for extra protection.

Here is the smoothed firewall. Looks killer! I hope it doesn't rain. Fenders ready for shiny stuff. Next updated should be really pretty!

      Happy new year!

I definitely creamed my pants when I opened up this email! Is there any color that looks better than black? Man it's looking sick. Frank said they plan to color sand it still and then clear coat. This year is getting off on the right foot!!!!

      Rendering

Highly recommend Ben over at Hermance design >>> Have 6 rendering but think this one works the best. I waited until clear coat to have it done do to difficulty with trim, grills, mirrors, bumpers etc. Now I just have to bribe Frank into finishing my car.
      Money well spent I think.

Thanks guys......it will be soon. They are just waiting for the right day to lay down the final dusting of black and clear. Then it shouldn't be long. I am hoping to have it here no later than Feb 28th. Like to get to enjoy her a little before 4 months of 100 plus kicks in. Then it will be night rides only.
