Same here...it's been sitting at idle for about a month and hope we start moving it on soon.

Next steps are to rough block the entire car and then prime it once again and then dismantle the parts for paint and powder coating of the radiartor support.

I decided not to go with the Kinddig-It handles and had new stock handles Nickle brushed. Stay tunned for a final rendering from Jason Rushforth.

Have you looked into the fitment of the Whipple to hood clearance? Is it like way good? Wondering if the 4.0L will have any fitment issues under a SS hood...

Good to see some progress! Looking forward to seeing the handles as well. I've tossed around the idea of shaved or stock ones painted black since I will probably go black on bumpers, headlight buckets, grill trim, and rear of hood/fender trim (shaving drip rails)...

The project is coming along slowly but we are moving along. The exterior is completed and doors, fenders, hood and trunk are taken apart for paint. The jams will be blasted and primed.

All panels are original and allignment is perfect.

Finishing touches are being made on the new firewall and getting ready for paint as well.

I swapped out my wheels to prevent any damage to them so these are temporary wheels from the shop.

Nice build. I'm glad to see other 70's getting built. I take it you're not pulling the body off the frame at all?

Here is a shot of mine, not the best pic as I'm at my work computer:

It's possible. I've owned the car for almost 2 years and purchased it from Gold Canyon. Every bolt and piece has been replaced.

      Off of McQueen and Ocotillo.

      DBC does great work!

Late reply on this. The 72 Chevelle was a rusty true SS car and was just sold. I bought a 70 Chevelle Malibu is rust free and a one owner 80K miles car. I am still fllowing this closely.
