70Junk, do you happen to have the part numbers on the wilwood brakes you used on the front/rear. I am in a similiar situation with my 69 cutlass (updating brakes/suspension/redo factory AC). Any info would be appreciated.

the rear brakes you have to measure your axle offset which is the distance from the axle face to the face of the housing where the brake mounts to it. The front are pretty strait forward. My rear offset was 2.75 on my 12 bolt.

if you need anything, let me know. The only parts I haven’t replaced on this car is the body and frame.

Got the rear end finished and back in the car. Threw on my rear sway bar. Then my rims from Weld came. Still need tires. Don’t mine the door gap, rebuilding the hinges this week.

Ran brake lines to the rear, mounted my new wheels, and put the car back on the ground after 5 months in the air. Still have some ways to go before it’s driving. Also probably have to lower the rear about 2-4”.

It is amazing how much better a car can look with new wheels!

Been a while since I posted much. I rebuilt the door hinges and got the driver door lined up perfect and swinging as it should again. I started to sand and prime the car to rattle can it black until I can afford an actual paint job. I also bought new fenders and hood and had them powder coated. Found a little rust once I removed the front windshield, but I’ll probably just treat it and send it. Still waiting on headers to be built by American Racing Headers. Hopefully once I get those bad boys, she’ll be ready to be fired up!!
