Will you need a custom oil pan for ground clearance since you lowered the motor?

      I shouldn't, but I'm already running a oil pan from a 79-93 mustang

Please tell me Santa brought you a bead roller for Christmas and you've got updates to motivate the troops to hit the garage this weekend.

Unfortunately, I haven't accomplished much, other than some welding on the rear of the car, I have been trying to get the rear sheet metal all welded back in. But I need to just sit down and figure out which bead roller I want and buy it so I can move on with it.

So I started to test fit the fuel cell, it fits pretty well for just setting it in. I still might cut the floor in front of it and move it 3"-4" forward and up about 1"-2"

I plan on mounting my tank high so that I can get rid of air under the car.

I think that's a good idea, The other reason I was thinking about it, is because the fuel cell is flat on the bottom instead of being tapered like the original.

So I finally just went ahead and bought a Woodward bead roller kit, its not bad for the price. The only problem was it bent and spread when you put 18g in it so I beefed it up a bit. I spaced the rollers out on the shaft a extra 3" so I can roll a larger piece and see it a lot better, with the extra bracing it handles it pretty well, plus I left the old mounting holes just in-case.

I added a hand wheel and ditched the crank handle to make it easier to turn, after all the bracing the thing was so bloody heavy I had to build a stand to hold it up instead of putting it in a vise

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

I pulled the rear wheels and set it on stands to try and figure out my back spacing, which as it turns out is a pain. But seeing the steam rollers under it does motivate me to keep on it.
