Thank you for the compliment. I've been asking a lot of questions to people like : Eric Wracker who competes in the Ultimate Street car auto cross, and pro touring races. It's never been my intention to build a car on the level of those on pro-touring dot com, but rather to translate to lessons learned by people here, into a " modern chassis/vintage body ride. When I first began I was working outside in 26 degree weather, and it seemed like a huge waste of money because non of the parts would fit together. So I sort went on hiatus. I reluctantly began again ( still outside ) when the weather was in the 80's - 90's, and all the suspension parts fell together like cake work. ( tolerances are a funny thing.) Things went from extremely frustrating, to rewarding, and fun. I would like to stiffen the floor pan a bit ( like the mustang guys do, with a floor pan frame. I don't want to go the roll cage route. ( getting to old for crawling through pipe. ) I had cut all the roll cage tubing out of my previous ride, a 6.1 hemi Barracuda I cannibalized due to a massive T bone.
Again, thanks to all pro touring guys, and gals everywhere. Without sights like this, it would cost a small fortune, and a team of experts to get as far as I have. ( and that's not even scratching the surface of some of the beautiful creations on the web sight.

      It's beautiful, and traditional.

I found the gray car back in the 80's, and I built the red one in the early 90's, but it hinted at what you built. Nice.

Still rocking the redneck tires and stock suspension but its still fun to sling down a dirt road.

Size: 148.9 KBSo I am just starting a '73 roadrunner build, does anyone here know what wheel/tire sizes I can get under this thing? Stock B-body width Dana 60 I am narrowing up, wilwood discs on the rear, inboard mounted springs for now...planning a 4 link in the future. Front in stock k-member, tubular upper arms, wilwood 11in discs and stock spindles. Wheel lips aren't rolled and wheel tubs are stock. If I wasn't sitting in alaska right now while the car in down in washington I would just go out and messure myself, but I am kind of stuck for the moment. I would like to have the wheels/tires waiting for me when I get back into town.

If anyone knows what I can cram under this thing please pass the info.

The pictures are the day I picked up the car, its currently stripped for chassis work then off to the paint shop.

Lots to talk about with this one. I will get around to posting a build thread eventually.

I'm just starting to post, but here's my '68 Dart that's almost done thanks to the help of Hotchkis. 408ci engine, T56 Magnum, Dr Diff Disc Brakes, Hotchkis TVS, 6-point cage, Corbeau seats, and M/T 18 x 9" wheels with 255/40/18 Michellin Super Sports (would like to go to a wider wheel with 275/25/18 RE-71R's).
