Race Jeep? A CJ2 that is more Vette

So, I fell into the Jeep rod craze... and maybe started a performance trend.

It's an all aluminum CJ2A body, that is 4" longer and 3" wider. Nose is also extended and widened to be proportional. On an aluminum frame.

Now enter in the fun. Rick Dobbertin makes aluminum adapters for Corvette suspension... and 2 years ago you could buy all new 7th gen Corvette suspension for about 2100.00. Fox/Ride Tech suspension mods include coil overs and Delrin bushings. Uses all Corvette geometry. New Vette rack and pion, rod ends, etc.

So, long story short:



It's a 1950lb race car with a GM 742hp Gen 5 LT engine with all forged internals by Callies , a 38% more fuel cam and an LT4 blower with LT4 injectors and HPFP. There is more in the engine, a lot more, but didn't need it in this chassis. A 2wd truck based 8L90E with Circle D converter and Shrifter paddle shifters on a Flaming River column. C7 suspension, C7 steel brakes, 19" rear Vette wheels (I planned to buy new wheels). 2020 Corvette pwm fuel pump, GM fuel pressure sensor and all the stock engineering driven by the ECM. PWM Fuel, Cooling fan, etc. The car basically repairs/ is engineered like a 2017 Corvette but way less weight and way more tire. Corvette C7 shifter for trans is wired into the engine harness for paddle usage.

Engine was built by Golen, here in NH.

Uses a 6th generation Camaro rear differential with 3.91 gears and an LSD. 33 spline axle shafts to Corvette ZR1 hubs. All off the shelf parts.

Engine harness is installed, includes the correct 2015 ECM and TCM, already paired by the GM Swap harness was done by Mitch at SwaptimeUSA, includes their Body Control module for paddle shifters, back up lights, gear indicator, etc. Vehicle harness is American Auto Wire. Stuff like Dakota Digital HDX gauges, JW Speaker LED headlights, bomber seats are included.

Manual master cylinder by Baer, matched to the 6 pot Brembo calipers on 15.4" rotors.

I fell out of love with the build. I do have like 200 pictures of it. All parts are new, never run.

I have a 46 CJ2A title and VIN for it.

Not much to go to get it done and start racing/freaking people out.

60K or interesting trades. I have more into it.
